Documentation for 1.0 version is currently being updated. You may notice frequent changes as content is added and refined.

Welcome to the DeployR documentation site, DeployR is a modern OS deployment platform from 2Pint Software, that is built for delivering Windows and Linux, to bare metal devices using a flexible task sequence based engine that allows for scale and efficiency. DeployR uses a web-based console for centralized management, and BranchCache powered peer-to-peer content distribution to help alleviate the impact of each deployment on the network.

DeployR gives the power back to the IT team, allowing complete management of the whole imaging and provisioning lifecycle. Whether that is deploying Windows 11 to hundreds of branch offices, or provisioning lightweight Linux nodes in a lab environment, DeployR provides the tools and the framework to do it consistently and accurately. In this documentation, you will find everything you need in order to properly deploy DeployR into your own environment, from infrastructure considerations and installation through to production deployments.

From Setup to Success

This guide provides you with step-by-step guidance on using DeployR, from first steps to full-scale deployment. It will review prerequisite requirements (supported platforms, infrastructural expectations, PXE booting), then the Installation section will describe how to deploy the main components and deploy the web-based console.

Next you will learn how to prepare boot images for Windows PE and Linux, and how to create deployment content like OS packages, driver packs, and applications. Finally you will define task sequences that control every step of the bare metal deployment process.
