# Antivirus Exclusions

On the StifleR Server, it is recommended that antivirus real-time-scanning exclusions be put in place to not interrupt the handling of files and databases. Exclusions should be made by excluding both specific folder locations which store service executables and database files **and** by excluding specific processes.

**Folder to Exclude for the StifleR Program Files:**\
\<Installation Dir>\2Pint Software\StifleR\
**Folder to Exclude for the ESENT Databases:**\
C:\ProgramData\2Pint Software\StifleR\Server\Databases
