Scripting
DeployR loves PowerShell, this section will cover some basics. Remember to always be using the 7.X.X version of PowerShell that corresponds with your build, you can look under the Pre-Reqs section if you're unsure. Using PowerShell 5 or PowerShell ISE will typically lead to insanity. Stick with PowerShell 7
DeployR has a custom module name "DeployR.Utility". This module is installed on the DeployR server in the default path: C:\Program Files\2Pint Software\DeployR\Client\PSModules\DeployR.Utility When creating scripts to leverage the module, you'll want to import it first.
Import-Module 'C:\Program Files\2Pint Software\DeployR\Client\PSModules\DeployR.Utility'Once you've imported the module, you can start to build your automation for DeployR. Commands lncluded (and always being updated) include:
Add-DeployRContentItemVersion Export-DeployRContentItem Export-DeployRStepDefinition Export-DeployRTaskSequence Get-DeployRApplication Get-DeployRApplicationVersion Get-DeployRContentItem Get-DeployRContentItemVersion Get-DeployRDriverPack Get-DeployRDriverPackFiltered Get-DeployRDriverPackVersion Get-DeployRHost Get-DeployRMetadata Get-DeployROperatingSystem Get-DeployROperatingSystemVersion Get-DeployRSetting Get-DeployRTaskSequence Get-DeployRTaskSequenceVersion Get-Secret Import-DeployRContentItem Import-DeployRStepDefinition Import-DeployRTaskSequence Invoke-DeployRRestMethod Invoke-DeployRWebRequest Invoke-DeployRWebService New-DeployRContentItem New-DeployRContentItemVersion New-DeployRMedia Request-DeployRContent Request-DeployRCustomContent Resolve-DeployRVariables Set-DeployRHost Set-DeployRMetadata Set-Secret Update-DeployRContentItemContent
