# Using WDS or third-party PXE servers

To leverage Windows Deployment Services (WDS) with DeployR, the generated Windows PE image files can be imported into WDS by opening the "Windows Deployment Services" administrative tool, navigating to the "Boot Images" node, and then right-clicking to select the "Add Boot Image" context menu option. Navigate to the location of the DeployR boot images (typically "C:\ProgramData\2Pint Software\DeployR\Content\Boot") and select the "winpe\_amd64.wim" or "winpe\_arm64.wim" files as needed.

For other PXE servers, consult their documentation for details on how to add custom Windows PE or Linux boot images.
