# Anonymous authentication

The "Bypass authentication" setting can be enabled to completely bypass all authentication mechanisms; any user can then access any task sequences and content available on the DeployR server.  Since this mechanism is tried first, any other configured authentication mechanism will never be used.

This configuration should not be used when DeployR is accessible via the internet.
