Creating a Task Sequence

To create a task sequence, you can either start from scratch or use a pre-built template. To start from scratch, navigate to the Task sequences node then click the + Add button and choose Add empty from the drop-down menu.

A new version can then be added. It will contain a single empty group. Click the Edit mode button to make changes; when done making changes click Save all changes.

To create a task sequence from a template, click the + Add button and choose Add from template from the drop-down menu. Choose from the available list (subject to change) and then click the Clone button:

A task sequence and version are automatically created as a copy (clone) of the selected template. Click Edit mode to make changes. Make sure needed step settings (e.g. the OS to be applied) are configured before clicking Save all changes.
